2017 Canned Contest

2017 TCCJA CONTEST CATEGORIES AND RULES

Below are contest categories and rules for this year’s TCCJA contests. Please review carefully, and mail(first class or priority) your contest entries to me on or before JUNE 15. If you will include a postcard, I will mail it back to you, or, even better, send them by certified mail.

Submit entries in pdf format. Mark each entry with a red arrow and be sure to include jumps. Identify each entry by category on the pdf file. Example: Feature Writing, COLLEGE…You may submit up to TWO entries in each newspaper and magazine category, unless otherwise specified. There is no need to send more than 1 set of entries.

Contests must have at least FIVE entries to be considered viable. One can never predict judges; so, enter as many contests as you can.—you may win first place!
